I've only heard their one famous song, Du Hast (i think it is).

They're ok. But i need somethin' that's HEAVY. So far, no one compares to the Cowboys from Hell or Hatebreed.

If you want heavy you need death metal. Metallica??? Huh? Yeah they were heavy in 1983

Exodus latest album, awesome (thrash metal).

If you like the Pantera/Hatebreed sound try:

Crowbar - Start with "Broken Glass
Down - Start with "NOLA" Pillars of Eternity will clean your chrome
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

    'In Flames' cd: Clayman
Or anything by them. Awesome European band. Highly recomend it

Slayer is always a good backup too. I think you'll like 'God hates us all'

What about Fear Factory or Violent Work of Art, or Sepultera, Rammstien is actually really Heavy but it's all in German. I doubt you really wanna go as heavy as death metal, I mean if you've heard one Napalm Death song you've heard em all. But definately all they do in Death Metal is Scream and Bang.

Yep. If you like that southern edge that Pantera has you'll definitely like. Crowbar is sludgy and the singer has this wicked growl of a voice but you can actually make out the words unlike most growlers.

Exodus' new one is the only top notch one mentioned so far, IMO. Messughah is ok. Try these:

    Awesome Death/Black metal:

    Any album by: "Death"
    Album: "Rapture" by Dragonlord
Album: "Damnation and A Day" by Cradle of Filth
Album: "Slaughter of the Soul" by At The Gates
Album: "Death Cult Armageddon" by Dimmu Borgir
    Album: "The Gathering" by Testament

    Quality Shouting/Hardcore Bands:

    God Forbid
    Unearth
    Machine Head
    Shadow's Fall
    The Haunted
    Lamb of God

    Other awesome metal bands:

    Opeth
    Iced Earth
    Dauntless http://www.tentonhammer.net/dauntless/downloads.html
    Halford
    And Oceans

I could go on forever. These are some that just popped in my mind. I'm a HUGE Heavy Metal Fan with hundreds of the best Heavy metal albums from many different genres. Let me know more about what you are into and I will turn you on to some of the worlds finest (and least known) bands. Here is a good source, too:

    http://www.metal-rules.com/reviews/

Superjoint Ritual is Phil's (Pantera's singer) new band. I don't suggest them.

Rammstein is humor on a high level. Guess they wont sell much in the US after this album though. Or maybe they will since no one understands the lyrics anyhow =)

Why did I always think that Meshuggah was norweigan? hm...

I have to admit that Unleashed is not bad, when I used to listen to them they had only one guitarist and it was clear he was not able to carry the band like Dimebag did IMO.
