Well im not tutting my own horn here but the ladies do think I'm gorgeous but i wouldn't consider myself a stud either i can get the ladies when i put my mind to it.

I agree, and it sounds like a fine idea at least to me. Write something nice, it can be brief or long - I would lean towards brief because she obviously made her choice(s) already.

Say goodbye, expect NOTHING in return. Wish her well on her journey of life and be happy for the good times you had, and move on. Either one of you can leave the door open to speak to each other once again perhaps in the future if you wish, but the best way to get over someone for me was to completely remove myself from the situation.

I'm not an old man just yet but I've been there and done that a couple times, and moving on is certainly the easiest. No reminders, no pains when they call you up cheery and you feel like shyt, and so on.

If you use words like gorgeous, those might not be ladies.

I wouldn't write any letters or anything at all.
Just be cool about it, stay in touch if you can, be friends. If you guys are right for eachother you'll get back together one day or you might find someone else even better.
People change, especially in college.

me too, but only 5 years

i wouldnt call her or anything. if you have no contact with her it will drive her crazy. she will be wondering what youre doing, if you are sleeping with someone new, if you have a new g/f, etc. soon she will be calling you wanting you back. showing her how much you miss her and pouting around will only show her how needy you are. never show all your cards.

Definitely take that route, besides that there isn't a whole hell of a lot you can do. It's life and everybody goes through it. Just enjoy college, party, screw whoever you can, and eventually you'll find a keeper.

You just started college buddy. Relationships should be the last thing on your mind.

Btw if you really want her, you should never give up.
