Im looking for a nice cross design
If you get a lover's name tatooed on ya, and you two broke up, your fucked. And you have to get like a butt load of bucks to get the tatoo removed. Thats what happened to my pall in highschool. She got her significant other's name on her arm and they broke up. She is still getting dough to get the tatoo removed.
And if you choose to get caligraphy (Japanese, Chinese, Aribic) make sure you realy find out what you are putting on ya. I remember that time when Britney Spears wantid to get the Japanese characters for mysterious and it actually ment strange.![]()

a good tattoo place will draw something up for you. that way you have something unique.

to many people a tattoo is no different than any other accessory that people wear on their person...Originally Posted by GoalGetter

I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
I love my tatoo and I've had it for about 12 years. I'm actually thinking of another one.

Like I said before, I know I wont ever regret getting this tatoo
True, also look for them to open up NEW needles everytime!!! The parlor I go to opens a pack right in front of me so I know they are new. They might charge a little extra for drawing it up but it would be worth it to have an original and exactly what you want!!! I've got 6 and plan on more, Will warn you about tattoos though, once you get one, you WILL want more, very addictive. Why do you want a cross? Is it something that means something to you? How about a scripture on it or something? Good Luck!!!Originally Posted by bulletproof1

Don't get a "donkey dick" one of my friends did and we punished him severly
Let me explain, he got a tattoo of one of these flowers;
and some other flowers like hibiscus' on his back right shoulder blade to symbolize Hawaii. The fun came when he put his shirt on and the tip of this flower showed on his neck and it looked like a dick. One night a girl was talking to him about his tattoos and my friend overheard and came over and said "That one on his neck is is a "donkey dick" tell her about that night in Tijuana." Then another night he was talking with another chick and I came up next to her and said "Ask him if you can see his "donkey dick." She looked kind of excited until she found out what we were talking about.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

i think this is kinda cute but OUCH

^^well thats just about teh coolest thing I have ever seen...!!
Sara ... I don't know about where you live, but here, most tattoo shops are pretty clean. I have yet to see one where they don't use new needles. I think that for the most part, because of the popularity of tattoos these days, shops are no like those of years ago.
What I would look for is first a good artist. Like Bullet said, paying a little more for a good artist is something you might want to consider. They should have a portfolio for you to look at. Look for the detail, colouring/shading. If you like it, then you can talk to the artist.
As for a price, I think the going rate here is about $125/hour.
