Students in states who voted for Bush not smart enough for college...

I feel like antagonizing a bit since I am sick. Taken from the same data that cman provided earlier. The 2nd column shows the percentage of students in each state that took the SAT. In order to go to college, the SAT must be taken. To the right is how the state went, Bush (R) or Kerry (D). Disturbing how all of the Bush folk are at the bottom of this chart.

    State %grads Vote
    Massachusetts 80% D
    Connecticut 79% D
    New York 74% D
    Pennsylvania 72% D
    New Hampshire 70% D
    Rhode Island 70% D
    Vermont 69% D
    Virginia 69% R
    New Jersey 69% D
    Maine 67% D
    Delaware 65% D
    Maryland 64% D
    Georgia 63% R
    D.C. 60% D
    North Carolina 59% R
    Indiana 57% R
    South Carolina 56% R
    Hawaii 54% D
    Oregon 50% R
    Florida 50% R
    Texas 49% R
    Alaska 48% R
    Washington 46% R
    California 45% D
    National Avg. 42%
    Nevada 32% R
    Colorado 30% R
    Arizona 29% R
    Ohio 25% R
    Montana 22% R
    West Virginia 18% R
    Idaho 15% R
    Illinois 14% D
    Tennessee 13% R
    New Mexico 12% R
    Kentucky 12% R
    Wyoming 12% R
    Michigan 11% D
    Louisiana 10% R
    Minnesota 9% D
    Kansas 9% R
    Missouri 9% R
    Nebraska 9% R
    Oklahoma 8% R
    Alabama 8% R
    Wisconsin 7% D
    Arkansas 6% R
    Iowa 5% R
    North Dakota 5% R
    South Dakota 4% R
    Utah 4% R
    Mississippi 4% R

    So, discuss.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

Come on Dale don't you get it, Democrats breed stupid children give it up already.

One constant in all of these charts, Mississippi is one dumb ass state
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Funny, michigan's only at 11%, but they ranked high on SAT scores

I think it's more that they can't 'afford' to go to school. When you weigh the cost of a $25k/year university against the path of walking right into a job at an automotive plant; sometimes school doesn't make sense

The same data cman posted, the %grads taken SAT is available n the chart, I just re-sorted it based on %grads instead of SAT score.

Rich, I don't actually believe this data, I was proving a point. You can use any bit of fucked up data to prove any point you want. And I am not a liberal, I straddle the line. I voted for Bush the first time, but didn't vote for him the second time based on his track record and the religious tone of his policy.
