i play every chance I get, and online is great once you manage to orientate yourself with all the different game modes. problem is unless you have a super fast connection most people won't give you the chance to play anything new until you have all the user made maps predownloaded- which is stupid. If you don't already have it downloaded, you're going to have a hard time getting started. So where do people get them if they're never allowed to join a game they don't have? No fucking clue, unless you happen to be online when the new one is released but within days it's already fluctuated to the "hard core" and that leaves the rest of us in the dark. Luckily I have a really fast connection so every now and then someone won't mind literally waiting the 5 seconds it takes to download it, but I've seen people get booted for taking 10 seconds to download a stage. That's rediculious and rude . It's stupid too, it's faster to let someone download the 10 seconds than it is to sit and wait for someone with the game to scroll through a list of games and join in. Generally it's even the host's fault the download is so slow

and dammit more than anything this thread reminded me that World of Warcraft just came out. And my freaking computer is too retarded to run it. By the time I'll be able to play it'll be so fucking hard to catch up with everybody. I mean, shit, the warcraft community won't even wait 10 seconds to download something- much less carry a lightweight newb along a quest.

anyway, I do actually have several copies of both frozen throne and even more of warcraft 3 so if I come across a copy I don't use I'll pm you

Awesome. I played dota for the first time last week. I have been using my bro's cd key but he lives online so have only played 3 games.

I am new to PC games. This one is the only one I have, but it seems fun. I am used to games like Halo so it is a different type of gameplay but one I am interested in.

If you find a key I can use, I will be more than happy to take it
