The wench newscaster knew that this was a raffle to the PARENTS not the kids. Nailed it dead on. The other thing that appealed to me is that the reporter felt she needed to mention that the Rep's parents were both killed in a mass shooting.. Completely unrelated, but it needed to be mentioned. Of course, It needed also be mentioned that the Rep herself was there, and had a gun, but she could do nothing; as it was in the car, thus proving civilian ownership of firearms is -useless- in preventing crime(And all of this is understood from the report, by many people, on a subliminal level.). The thing the reporter failed to mention is that the gun was left in the car because CCW had not yet been passed at the time(to the best of my knowledge, correct me if Im wrong.) Had it been, Id be willing to bet only a few people would have been hurt or killed before the attacker were taken down.

Back on topic though; If the Democratic party, members(not all), and media were not so biased in sending the wrong messages on the issue; and instead, spoke from an objective standpoint(Be it pro, or anti gun) John Kerry would have had my vote in November.

Im not a one issue voter, but I sided with both parties on different issues, one issue was bound to be the tie breaker, this just happened to be it.

Lampasas Tx school had a raffle for the needed funds to finish the fence around their school. TheY offered a gun that had been donated as the raffle prize. Some BLONDE MSNBC newscaster was trying to knock this effort down while showing several shots of semi auto assault weapons as the conversation was had with a Tx Legislator. They just kept rolling these shots of 30 TO 40 AK47's ar15'S mAC10'S and such while leaving the minor detail that gun in the raffle was 22 CAL. DEER RIFLE?!?!

I can see how someone could have a problem with raffling a deer rifle off for a school. I personally couldn't give a shit, but I could see where someone could be pissed about it.

The problem is the opposing cultures. I bet this MSNBC chick is from an urban area whereas things are different in TX. I got my hunting license when I was 6 yrs old and I had been going hunting for 2 yrs prior to that, so I understand the plight of the rural man.

This was covered in the interview by Ms Hupp the Legislator interviewed Dale. Hupp called this part of the country "The comon sense part of the country" where people used their heads. She also had to point out several times that this was all done under federal guidelines ... meaning no kid was sold a raffle ticket and that an adult with proper ID and such had to do be the winning ticket holder. MSNBC kept trying to make Hupp look bad and instead wound up with a newscaster looking totally blonde.

The same thing happened a few years back with a bottl eof wine or some shit being raffled off. People get retarded every few years and feel the rest of us need to suffer for their lack of fun.

Ive been doing what I do for over 20 years and in some of the worst,crime infested, areas of the country. And you want to know how many times, in all those years, Ive ran into the type of tactical rifles, shown in this, that were used in a crime? I can count them on one hand and have a few fingers left. MSNBC is a piece of shit anyways, intent on mindscrewing the feeble-brained into their bombthrowing Liberalism. Why doesnt this twat do an expose on all the trash dumpsters filled with murdered babies sitting outside abortion clinics instead? Pray tell do include photos!

If your talking about the mass shooting at Lubys restaurant then you are dead wrong. She was not armed!! It was "illegal" to carry her gun in the restaurant and she decided to be a lawfull citizen and leave it in the car because thats what "lawfull citizens" do. They follow the law.
