I like Burst! because of its very low resource use ... I can be downloading several files, playing infiltration or AOE, and have mozilla running with several tabs open without any issues.
I'm new to this and looking at the merits of the various P2P types.

Kazaa/Morph'/Piolet/whatever are way slow for large files and are being hammered with spyware and torjans.

mIRC is tough to set up ... but I'll get it.

Some torrent info for you ...
Suprnova mirror site bi-torrent ... OK I guess
    Here is throughput
Here is a page with some useful stuff over at P2Pfourms ...

HyperTorrent and torrentreactor.net are pretty good, and they have porn. I use ABC as my client.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

    piratebay.org

It's in swedish, but how hard is it to understand what "alla type" on the search means? Plus, parts of it are in english.

And you gotta dig a site that responds to a legal threat with:

"As you may or may not be aware, Sweden is not a state in the United States of America. Sweden is a country in northern Europe.
Unless you figured it out by now, US law does not apply here.
For your information, no Swedish law is being violated.

Please be assured that any further contact with us, regardless of medium,
    will result in
    a) a suit being filed for harassment
    b) a formal complaint lodged with the bar of your legal counsel, for
    sending frivolous legal threats.

It is the opinion of us and our lawyers that you are fucking morons, and
that you should please go sodomize yourself with retractable batons.

Please also note that your e-mail and letter will be published in full on
    http://www.thepiratebay.org.

    Go fuck yourself.

    Polite as usual,
    anakata"

    They're not going anywhere.

    That is friging hilarryious cfs.

Music is nice. I love david Mathews and have paid for the stuff I have of his ...

    I'm after the expensive stuff.
Iv'e found Photoshop, Dreamweaver, several Norton apps, a nice lil email notifier for gmail, a starwars chess game from the 80's, blah blah blah.

BTW ... I am wondering which TRACKER to use when I make a torrent to seed ... not which client I need to leech with.

I have bitcommet and burst. I tried bit torrent and didn't like the resource consumption. Haven't messed with ABC yet. I am not really happy with the gui on Burst! so I'll give ABC a try.

Enjoy and remember to share. U seed I seed we get torrents.

I heard Bit Torrents are more easily tracked than P2P for illegal sharing? Anyone else heard this?

Is the error generated by your bittorrent client or by the unzipping program?

I open up bittorrent, it says Starting up download, or w/e it says there, starting up something. Then I get an error box saying [erno24] too many open files, and the bittorrent download fails. Then I cry, slowly.

Bittorrent itself, Akira? Download it, click on a BT link, and download. Where are you struggling?

Download and use Azureus. It's a bit of a memory hog (hey, it's written the programming shit that is Java), but it's the best client I've seen for managing multiple torrents. I've never had a problem with it.

I agree 100%. i am running 28 torrents on Azureus right now, burning up my neighbors Wireless router. I bet their connection is slowed to a crawl. I'm an ass!

I'm running airsnort which is a packet sniffer and kismet which collects WEP encryption keys on my Linux machine. I have a wardriving kit with a directional antenna. I then connected to their router and locked them out of it. I selected them, because they’re noisy assholes that leave their garbage outside their door for weeks at a time.
