St Valentines day biting me in the ass.

Yup, of course we know that mushy gushy month is coming up. Today after seeing a movie, I see a hella lot stores putting up Valentines cards, candies, and bears.

Its just sickening. If you wanna know where I'm getting at is that I hate Valentines Day!

And I will tell you why:

8 years ago (and yes, i was the ugly duckling back then), on Valentines Day, classmates hooked me up with this fat fuck with glasses. I was pretty naieve back then so I diceided to be his girl. And I was with Fat Fuck for 4 years untill I found out we were realy put together because we're ugly. And the icing on the cake: Fat Fuck was falling in love with me. He kept calling me asking to have sex. I said no. And Valentines Day my sophmore year in highschool, Fat Fuck and I were no more.

So evry Valentines Day since then, I just get tense and pretty much sad that it happened. And my luck with males is terrible: they are either taken, with kids and devorced, or gay.

My single male radar is kinda fucked up to tell you the truth.

Valentines day is not my faveorite holiday at all.

#2 I am not going to tell you how to speak, but I think the "fat fuck" comment was a bit overboard.

You are 20! You are young! Your life is barely beginning, I am almost 30 and still I have no right to bitch. Be happy for what you do have, not sad for what you think you do not. You COULD be like 2 of my friends, who are continuous stalk and rape victims still trying to find a way for the system to help them. One of them works in law, and the only way she can figure to help herself now is get a shotgun, and I support that decision. The other one virtually sees no way out but to hope oneday he stops. The cops wont help, because he has friends in the PD who keep making sure the rape kits dissapear. Interestingly lots of files on him also dissapear. Imagine a little slice of hell like that, some people go through even yet worse than that.

I am just trying to offer some perspective. Pick up your chin, it could be worse. Being needy, is going to find you someone who will prey on you.

You were 12 YEARS OLD!!! Get beyond this and embrace the beautiful woman you are. Stop being a "victom" and become the Victorious!! I do realize you struggle with the depressing memories of your youth but this too shall pass. You are young with a bright future ahead. Perhaps if you were a bit more positively focused about yourself you might soon find a worthy man willing to court you.

i had 1 boyfriend break up w/me on Valentine's Day back in college
i totalled my car another year on Valentine's Day
and i ruptured my appendix another year.

still don't hate it

(and i don't doubt for a minute that plenty of people have had far worse valentine's day experiences. it's just a day)
