Speeding up!
I just upgraded my home internet service from 768k to 3mb. The phone company just upgraded their service right before Christmas. They offer a 6-10mb for 69.99/month and a 3mb for 44.99/month. Currently I pay 49.99 for my 768K. I get the first three months for 34.99/month. I may upgrade to the 6-10mb after I see the new 3mb service
But $70/month for internet is getting steep.

Depends on your side too, if your computer is not up to par it could have a lagging effect on your connection, also I notice that no matter how quick my connection is you hit sites that are just slow themselves. I wouldn't see the benefit in spending that much money for the internet, unless you're downloading gig's and gig's worth of stuff. Originally Posted by dg806

be careful downloading shit guys, I was recently caught downloading copyrighted material ( full version games, lots of porn and music. Did I mention lots of porn ??)) anyway they send me a warning letter that if they get me again then my ass gets sued......And spyware doesnt help becasue when you use a sharing program the guy you download from might be working for the Corpyright Act company and all he has to do is write your IP down and you are fucked, thats how they got me......

I have a 6MB/Sec Cable connection. It's piped into the house, and then onto a Wireless Router. We have 4 computers currently, and then a file server. I own my PC, and the server, and my siblings each have one along with my parents.
They're # of comps will be down soon though, as I'm moving out next month
