    Women Drivers...

    Thank goodness for insurance...
May the Lord Jesus Christ bless those who bless me as I gladly accept their blessings, and curse those who curse me all the while protecting me for any evils. In Christ name, amen...

You did not meet feminists who were proud of their femininity. YOu met militants, they are similar to the rednecks here who taint the congenial, caring southern down to earth folks, true southerners, who comprise such wonderful people down here. As Luke stated, it's too bad people make generalizations.

As a feminist I am foremost a mother, a wife then a doctor and senior partner and medical professor. ( Which is why I am not a surgeon, which pretty much gives the former up.) Most feminists like me just carry on with their lives and try to be as good of a working collegue as much as a wife or mother, that's all.

I believe, I did not criticise or condemn men and say we were better drivers. I just noted that men are equal opportunity bad drivers at times and women can hold their own if they are socially taught driving skills and the expectation of being good drivers (which my father did during our years driving off road and in NYC)

I don't understand why people got defensive with my posts. I was not flaming men or hating them. Go read them again.

Hey, at least I never crashed while carrying the live cargo . Luckily, I've never had an accident in the last 13 years although my car was hit in a parking lot when I was shopping.

NYC is a different city compared to LA. (I worked in South Central at Martin Luther KIng medical center for a while) The drivers in NYC are uniformly aggressive a$$holes and you can't help but become one after a while. Even now I can't stand drivers who are timid (which alot of them are in the South it seems.) I thought the drivers in LA were much nicer.
