To answer your question, yes she should be thankful she is alive. I couldnt imagine one person prefer death over rape, and I know a few great women who have been through that. They sure as hell are happy they are still around.
Obviously the man who did this has serious psychological problems, as do any other rapists.
Its not just you, though, so I do apologize for gettin bullshit at ya. Ive seen a whole two posts that actually UNDERSTOOD what I wrote. Every other one is obviously to stuck on the rape issue. I see what happened as two issues. He saved her life, absolutely great thing. Then he raped her, absolutely horrible thing.
Yes she should be thankful that he saved her life. Obviously this wouldnt have happened if he didnt, but she now has her entire life ahead of her, one of limitless possibilities. That, my friend, is something to be thankful for.
