Newt wouldn't stand a chance against Hilary, try again.

If sense were common, everyone would have it.

Hilary would beat Newt hands down, no one likes him, he is too conservative, and the women could uprise to vote Hilary in. The key for the Repubs is a more moderate conservative since I feel Bush will mess it up the next four years. Not necessarily because conservatism is bad, but because he is incapable. Like I said, John McCain will be the man and if he is, he has my vote, Giuliana I am 50/50 on, I wouldn't vote for Newt.

Ya know, DG, i think you were just missing all the bitterness and arguments we had before the election. I thought we were gonna have some time off from this!

LOL, you just love it, huh.

Newt is okay, McCain is better, Guiliani is best.

We'll see what happens.

Yep!
McCain is liberal. He should be a democrat. Guiliani hsan't done much IMO and doesn't deserve to be pres. Although I think the repubs could do better, I would vote Newt over the other two.

I pray for the democratic party to nominate Hillary. The bitch would NEVER win.. no matter who the republican candidate was.

I'd vote for Newt over Guiliani or McCain, too.

Finally, someone who makes sense. Somebody tell me what good Giuliani has ever done. I don't think what he did during 9/11 was all that impressive, I think anyone could have done the same, if not a better, job.

But there is a huge difference between the pre-Guiliani NYC and the post-Guiliani NYC. Perhaps I see more of what he did because Im close and read the NYC papers, but he did do a hell of a lot for his city.

LOL, Im not upset. Why would I be? Because you didnt give the answer I expected? Im a better debater than that.

That is absolutely INcorrect. Every single time the Repubs have leaned toward the left to try to bring in the "swing" voters they've lost their base and hence, the election. What the Repubs need to do is become MORE conservative. Just two short months ago we proved that, given a choice between a hardline Conservative and a hard line Liberal, the Conservative wins. Our nation is being hijacked by people that would turn us into a Socialist society and most of us are damn sick and tired of it. No, we will NOT become more moderate, we are going to WIN.

I would bet my house, my car, my office that Newt would beat Hilary.

I am not a Newt fan, but he is much, much more electable.

This laughable. So you are saying that the repub base is going to vote in a deomcrat over a liberal republican? So the church and morals group is going to vote out of spite simply because one of their own went a little more towards teh center? I think not. The reason in past that repubs lost their seat wasn't because they went more towards the center, it was because the hardline conservative before them fucked it up for everyone. Much like I imagine you will be seeing if Bush doesn't get his shit together. Look at Ronald Reagan. He was a great president and that alone got Bush Sr elected. Bush Jr has been anything but a great president.

Nope, that's not at all what I'm saying. Go back and check your history. When the Republican platform moves more toward the center the voting base splits between all the moderate Republican candidates. But when there's ONE, hard right candidate, he gets the full backing of the Republican voters. Bush the elder lost because he wasn't conservative ENOUGH and Ross Perot got enough of what should have been his base for Clinton to win the election. Regan was hardline conservative and won in landslides. Bush the elder won the first time on Regan's coattails but lost re-election because he wasn't conservative enough and let Clinton, a moderate Liberal, and Perot, a conservative, steal some of his base. Dole also lost because he TRIED to be a moderate Republican. The current Bush has won twice because he's a hardline Conservative.

I thought he was saying that a moderate conservative loses the enthusiasm of alot of republicans. They don't give as much, volunteer as much and may even skip voting...these things do more damage than one vote anyways.

Dont count that wicked Hillary out. Remember 53% of America is woman. I for one would love to see a conservative woman run for Pres on the Republican ticket. I'd vote for that right girl in a heartbeat.

But it aint gonna be that bomb-throwing, flag-burning, baby-killing, commie, liberal, cop & soldier hating, manifesto-reading, malignant mother fucker Hillary!.................................Rich
