Considering my current Boombox is on it's last leg (probably 15 years old), I figured I shop for a new one. I thought with the latest technology there would be some very high tech boomboxes on the market. Unfortunately I was wrong. It seems that you can buy "small" mp3 players or home theater type systems along with a couple book shelve systems. There are a few boomboxes but nothing that has impressed me.
I'm looking for a audio unit that can run on batteries or an outlet, that can play CD's, MP3s and has a FM/AM Radio in it. (I'd be nice if you could plug in a flash USB memory stick with MP3's to play too - but I haven't seen one of these available at all. ) I'd also like it to sound clear and have the power to be loud.
