If it malfunctions you'll be sorry, trust me I tried one before and the thing kept zapping me hard right in the belly I had to wait 3 day's for my nut's to drop pack into their sack.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

i would put them in the same boat as instant abs

i dont see how they can cause hypertrophy

if you wanted to use EMS to loose weight you'd probly be better off goin for a 30min walk rather than electrocuting your self for an hour

I tore the PCL in my right leg and the brace I wore caused noticable atrophy in that leg. During my physical therapy I was hooked up to a stim unit and it helped put back some muscle onto my leg. I didn't lift weights during therapy just stretch and ride a bike set on low resistance.

The idea is to flex the muscle as hard as you can while the unit is active. However it's obviously not as effective as weight training.

Are they any good at speeding up the removal of unwanted fat? Hmmm?

I wouldn't say i was aiming to be a bodybuilder now, but i would say that this old body is in need of some work, the basic chasis is still in good nick with not too many miles on the clock, well 38 years to be exact,

I weigh in at about 190lbs/86Kilo and top off at 73in/182cms, it is rumored that i have visited a few gyms in the past and am now looking to re-make the acquaintance and hopefully i can get out again still alive and kicking and with a bit of a make over or failing that, i would settle for an inch or two off the belly and onto the chest.

    See ya around

IMO, it's a lazy man's desperate attempt. I don't see how "shocking" your muscles will burn fat.

If you don't learn how to manage your weight, you'll never keep it off. As suggested, exercise. You already know that works!

my friend had one of the ones you out of the back of the muscle building mags that cost 500$, i just electrocuted the shit outa myself and felt burnt the shit outa myself aswell. they're crap!!! good for physical therapy, but it does minute work in trying to revive you muscles from atrophy and teaching it how to work again.
