maybe this thread should morf into " i would rather (fill in the blank) than ask a girl out for the first time." i liked the one about yelling out a bomb threat at a cofee shop that was original.

Personally it is damn hard to ask a girl out, i'm always hoping for the girl to make the first move or make some kind of a sign that she might be interested in dating me.

I'm going to ask a girl that i've had feelings for, for a long time (talking 2-3 months here, something she prob doesn't know). We've talked alot in the past 2 weeks and I think shes even flirted with me. We catch each other in the middle of class looking at each other the other day, and shes dated my best friend for near 9 months - 1 year. BUT She broke up with him a few days ago (after us chatting, catching each other in class), and i'm hoping its the sign i've been looking for if it isn't.. damn, I will feel like a fuckin' fool. Been plotting what how I will ask her out all weekend, and something I haven't gotten in at least 5 years is butterflys thinking about it. Anyways, wish me luck I'm hoping for a long term relationship with her, I think we have the chemistry but the feelings are no joke.

By the way my name is a bit deceiving, i'm 15 so this might sound like the typical teenage crush but it isn't.

JUST GO FOR IT MAN. heres a cool story. heres how i met my gf that im with right now. 2 of my good friends say "ok matt, we'll give u 15 bucks each if u go up to a random girl n the wieght room at our school and try to get her #" and i saw a girl that was lookin absoulutly gorgeous, tan and n shape, soccer player, like love at first sight man, i had seen her a few times b4, so she was runnin on the treadmill and i go up to her n jus say whats up hows it goin , asked what grades shes in and started like that, then i jus plain out siad it( which is not like me to do) i say " hey can i get ur #, i think ur beautiful and would like to call you sometime" i was nice bout it, didnt try to act like a hardass or be to cocky. and she said " do you have a pen" and that was early march of 2004, a while ago, so dont be to confident to come off as a cocky asshole, but also dont look like ur begging for her #, show her that ur interested but dont make her think ur desperate for her. good luck. and if ur on this site u obviously like workin out, if ur n good shape and have a good body then the gym is the best place to meet girls. cuz if they are there then boom u both have a common interest, and let it go from there, talk bout ur lifting routines and what u like to do for fun, offer to spot her on bench press or something(((((((BUT DONT MAKE HER FEEL LIKE SHES THE LIL GIRLY GIRL AND UR THE BIG MAN HELPIN HER))))) ive found girls dont usually go for the trying to be mocho man thing.

If you want a girl to like you, you gotta be confident, bottom line.

Girls don't like shy, nice guys. They like guys they hafta chase.

As far as going up to them the first time, be confident and funny, not shy and quiet. ALthough this is very tough to do the first time, cuz usually you are real attracted to the girl and you get nervous. This is why I am good at pulling chicks @ the bar. Typically i'm a nice, reserved kinda guy with new people. But in teh bar, when i'm a rockstar loaded up on booze, i feel like i can pull any chick i see, which def. hooks 'em.

Where ever you are, just remember to always act like you own the place, that usually works.

Watch the eyes, see who's checking you out if you catch eyes with a girl more than 3 times she's looking at you and you need to move in, if you catch eyes with more than 3 guy's then you're in the wrong bar and you need to get out, unless that's your thing too.

Just a routine introduction is all the "game" you really need. Hi my name is .........

and don't forget that you have to make her laugh, laughing induces smiling which gets juices pumping if you know what I mean.
