Paint Stripper Belt Sander

Melaleuca oil....took wood paint/sealer offa my patio set last summer with it! The only thing that stuff doesnt work on is my fat ass!

Oh and i actually used it to remove tar from my car's bumper!

White paint

try some adhesive remover or even some wd-40. IF that doesnt work, it wont be too espensive a job. All you would have to do is take it to a shop to be wetsanded and buffed to a shine. (depending on how new your clear coat is)

Buffing compound

That sucks Rock, geez, who the hell would do that?

Goof off, Goo Gone or Oop's work should work. If not some of the liquid polishes have a little bit of turpentine and might work well don't get crazy in one spot though.

I've used this to remove overspray off a white painted surface. It worked great. I don't know if it will work on Black Magic marker or not.

Fade is right. You need a buffing compound, but you need to be CAREFUL. Its slightly abrasive, and can go through the clear coat. You need to wax it afterwards also.

Being a bit of a gambling man, I'd bet they used a Sharpie. I'd call the company first and see what they recommend. Or call Terrell Owens, he's got some Sharpie experience too.

try a bug and tar remover,then wash down the car and polish with a mild finishing compound.

i believe 3m makes a product called 837 that will also take it off without damaging the paint.you can also purchase a clay product that will rub off overspray as well as fallout.
but the car will have to be polished afterwards.

if you have clear coat on your car you need to find a compound that won't fuck that up as well.

Don't try buffing cmpd yourself unless you've used it before and know what you're doing, it can really fugk it up, I've seen cars that people have tried to do themselves. I'd take it to the dealer they'll buff it for you, but prolly hit you over the heaad too $$$$. If you know of a GOOD detail shop they can do it for you for less than the dealer.
