I wanted to be a professional baseball player. I used to pitch all the time with my dad. However I never played or even tried out for a team until I was 13. I had a mean ass slider and a fastball no one could hit in my league. My curve was pretty nice but I had control issues with it. Not bad but not a mainstay game pitch. I threw high 80's by the time I was 15 and was basically untouchable in my league. Then I quit... Lead in HR's but you already knew that... Even before I had ever swung a bat I would pretend in my living room. I was the best player ever...lol I kept my stats and everything! Kids... I'd run the bases(pillows) steal bases, make diving catches etc... Won the triple crown every year! Those were good times.

I also thought of being a lawyer or doctor like 80% of everyone else did.

Today these things obviously aren't to be but I'm trying to make the most of what remains. Now I'm working on running a sucessful business and getting paid to play softball. God help me...

I wanted to be a drug dealer.

Joking aside, I wanted to be a Navy Seal. *sigh*
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
    to improve their lives.

I wanted to be a hockey player or a cop. Around graduation of high school I realized that I would be neither. Hockey was not happening because of my failure to pursue it by going to college and I opted against a career in law enforcement due to my tendency to fly off the handle with my bad temper.

What do I do now? I sit at a desk working on a computer all day designing wiring harnesses for helicopters. Fun stuff...

I have somewhat of an unstable story!

    1979:birth
    wanted to be:
    1985: Micheal Jackson(dont ask!!)
    1987: a boy(dont ask!lol)
    1989: a singer
1990: in the military...(Watched a 2 hour video about basic training twice a day!)
    1992: an actress
1995: An Amway success story(actually made about 60k/year for a few years doing that while going to school!! But thats canadian funds, so thats about $2 US)
1996: a grown up, so I left the family nest!
    1997: a mother
2001: a stand up comedian (still working on that!)
    2002: skinny!

Today: well, I own a successfull translation business, I do have kids, I can still sing, Im working to become a PT and broaden my knowledge of training and nutrition and I get fitter by the day! I think I did alright!
Life is what you make of it, not what it makes you...TAKE CHARGE!

I wanted to be Kojak, then The Hulk, then Colt Seevers aka. The Fall Guy, then I wanted to be a Lion in the Jungle with Tarzan, then a Jedi like Yoda, then I wanted to be a Kung-Fu Monk like David Carradine just wandering around teaching mean poeple hard lessons. That was ages 3 to 8. From 9 to 15 I wanted to be anything from a ninja to a football player to Tony Hawk to a Rock guitarist. From 15 to 18 I just wanted to be away from my home town doing anything.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

From the moment I was capable of wanting to be something, I have wanted to be a soldier. As time progressed, I wanted to be a better soldier, then the best soldier I could be so I could do more for others in the Army. I think I am there now, achieving all that. I have only two more positions in the military that I could go higher, at the same rank, but two positions higher. Not sure if I will get both, but one more is likely. My lifelong dream is mostly complete.
THAT WHICH DOES NOT KILL ME, CERTAINLY MUST MAKE ME STRONGER

A father to my son. Retired by mid life. Married to one woman till we get matching head stones with "Married for 60 years" carved in them. 2 outta 3 aint bad ... I'm not married anymore.

Never had a dream job ... other than make a good living. I just used my head and worked hard at what ever was in front of me. It worked.

As a kid i wanted to be a Terminator, or basically anything Arnold was.

Then as a teen I wanted to be a pro soccer player. I was (still am) pretty damn good, but i don't think i could make the US Nat'l team

So now i just settle for being a bodybuilder /rockstar
You're a funny guy, Sully, I like you. Dat's why I'm going to kill you lahst.

I honestly don't remember wanting to be anything. I know that I wanted to make a ton of money while working very little, which I have done successfully.
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
