    Why stick with the old version of limewire? Thats what I have now.

    I've been ripping streaming radio with winamp and the streamripper plug-in, but I use Kazaa-Lite to DL specific songs usually rare bootleg stuff.
    Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
    not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
    and drag down the features of age,
    no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
    no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
    but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

    What version is considered the "old" version? I have heard it eats alot of processor power if you don't buy the Pro copy, does the "old" version do the same?

    I still say napster or itunes is the way to go. Legal, large selections, FAST and RELIABLE downloads. Songs are always perfect, never have to worry about errors or viruses.

    However, if you choose to download torrents are the way to go IMO.

    Couple of people at work use Ares, I dont know how new it is. But it works good for them. I'm still on Kazaa lite, and Torrents.
