It won't be long now we should start seeing Skunk Cabbage (Symplocarpus foetidus).
In low lying areas that are protected from the extremes even by blankets of snow it can be found at the earliest.
While we sometimes think so, Nature is always alive and never really silent or asleep.

Actually I just envy that Avatar of yours, it looks better than mine.

I think the thread that you're looking for is: Hydroponic Indica

I would like to see someone who is very knowledgeable with plants spend time and discover their uses from all perspectives - I think we are missing out on a lot Nature has provided for all of us.
It could be that you - or anyone else - would end up not being "disappointed" afterall.![]()

While we think generally not much is happening there really is something happening all the time. It is fun to discover things most people overlook or do not even consider as a possibility...
And I like bike riding too - I even do it in the winter - but carefully (I do not want to kill myself on ice for example.) It is fine as long as you dress for it and when you get home take a warm shower immediately after. And it keeps your body in-tune. Many people just kinda lay around during Winter months and do not do too much and wonder why when Spring comes it is so hard to "get started" again. I like to enjoy all seasons and benefit from them as well mind, body and spirit.

The name in parenthesis is the Latin name for it. When you see it you know Spring is here.
