    Walking?

There is nothing like walking, especially in the country - or hiking. I do it whenever I can - and I try to make sure I make the time because I get a lot out of it and it is fun. And if you look around you'd be surprised at what you can see and hear and realize...

    Anyone else like walking?

Papa Bull and Baby Bull sitting on top of a hill looking down at the meadow below full of cows.
Baby Bull says." Papa! Papa! Let's run down into that meadow and fuck us one of them cows!!"
Papa Bull says, "Easy there youngster, let's just walk down there and fuck all of them!"

Wow Rocky! I love graveyards at night. I always used to want to bring a girl into one at night but they were all to chicken. Come to think of it, most guys are to chicken. When I was overseas we used to party all night at these ancient Roman castle ruins around dead people from like 2,000 years ago. We'd get all fucked up and talk to the ghosts with pink Floy'd blaring.

But my favorite graveyard was one I'd have to go thru on my way to a bowhunting spot. I'd walk down this lonely, desolate country road about 1/2 a mile and then into tall standing corn. All in the dead of night with no-one around for miles. All of a sudden the corn would open up and there'd be a small graveyard from the 1800's. It was like out of a movie, owls screeching, ghosts walking around, stalks rustling. I half expected the children of the corn to come running out with scythes's.

I wish I could take you there. Even I was a little spooked with that one..............................Uncle Rich

    Hi Rich,

I wonder... It seems as if a lot goes on in graveyards after dark because there are many who do not think much is going on and is not a place to go "after dark"... Truth is unless there is someone alive there after dark not too much does happen other than the same things that happen in the woods or in the fields at night with respect to Mother Nature and is really no more "scarry" a place to be than the woods or the fields... In fact they can actually be the safest places and the most peaceful. "Scarry" places are in big cities after dark and the most dangerous.

Would you consider those that "live" there voyeurs? I bet a lot of young people have had their first sexual experiences there because they believe it is more often than not "a very private place" and "no one else is around...."

    Hi Sgtneo,

Try it on a very cold winter night with no moon - but do that in an area you KNOW FOR SURE. Do it in a small area and work yourself up to larger areas or greater distances - you do NOT want to get yourself into anything you can not get out of easily until you have mastered this... It will still be an area "you really do not know" I can assure you. Try it with the snow blowing. It tests even the very best. But you also will realize something you never did before - there is a lot of very interesting things everywhere and beauty everywhere.

Yaknow Johnny I really dont want to continue busting you balls , and I dont really think your a bad kid, but I sure as hell dont need anyone here to tell me what kinds of places are dangerous or not. I could drop you off in some places I patrol and ,depending on the night, you'd probably have about a 50/50 chance of running out of them alive.

Sorry for the ball busting tone, thats just the way I am. I think your a pretty polite, nice kid. But I think you know a lot less then you think you know...............................Uncle Rich

    Hi Rich,

I've gotten used to you wanting others to think you know it all - not to "bust your balls".

I wrote as I did because I DO NOT automatically assume that someone who reads what I say will take whatever precautions are necessary. I do not want someone blaming me for not warning them in some way and have it look as if I am suggesting there is no "risk". And I was not speaking ONLY to you (if you chose to read what I posted) but anyone that might read it.

    Take Care, John H.
