I already did & replied to all of them.

This reply was pointless & immature of you.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the father of 11 kids going to Iraq.

I feel bad for his family that he has to go.

He doesn't feel bad, why should you?

After entering the reserves, Chennault remained committed to his military service. He recalls that when the Navy announced that his unit was getting called up, his name wasn't on the initial deployment list because of a clerical error.

"I raised my hand and the first question I asked was, 'Why am I not going?' ... I said, 'Look, I don't think it's fair for my brothers and sisters here to be going. They have children, and their children are just as important to them as mine are to me."'

    Chennault's wife is supportive.

if the dumbass didn't have 11 kids he probably wouldn't of had to turn to the reserves for the extra money, he signed the paper

I do not feel bad for any soldier, full time or reserve, that has to serve in war, if you are going to join the military, any branch, that is what you're signing up for. What in the hell do you think the military is for? They are there to fight wars and protect. Is it sad if they get hurt or killed in war? Yes it is, but that is the risk you take when you join. If you have 11 kids and need money, do not take this risk, don't join the damn military, get a second job at Wal-Mart.

Although it is illegal in the eyes of the Mormon Church, there are still many who practice it.

It is also a sad fact that polygamy is probably the first thing most non-Mormons think of when one mentioned the Mormon Church.

But as I mentioned before, polygamy doesnt mean tons of kids.

Yea, there are.. infact there is a community near southern utah, near yuba lake. Its ALL polygamists, and they are easily spotted elsewhere in the state. Why? because they make their own clothing, and look like pioneers.

All I have to say is people in general are ignorant, so they can think whatever. I just felt like I had to say something, because its my religion.(even though im not an active member)

Is birth control frowned upon where this navy reservist is from perhaps?

    Are they Catholic Orthodox?

True , thats why Canadian military service rocks ... Sure our military sux , but the only time they are deployed its for peace keeping , so barely any deaths ...

Like Min0 said, with 11 kids I'm sure he was more than happy to get away. I don't think he'll see too much action being a Seabee.

u ever heard the phrase "We build, We fight"? Seabees, corpsman, and spec ops are the types of navy folks dying over there right now.......

There is a very important war needing to be fought. On the Pakistan Afghanistan borders where Bin Hiden was last seen. Iraq is done. Why are we even there now? Fuck Iraq ... get on with the real task at hand and get Bin Laughin where ever the buttmonkey has Bin Hiden. Lets move on already.
