If you get a chance, see the Movie about Dr. Alfred Kinsey (the Sex researcher of world renown fame) which is part of the AMERICAN EXPERIENCE film Series. It is about 1 1/2 hours long. It was boradcast recently on Public Broadcasting System (PBS). It is well worth your time to see.

This is not the same as the motion picture entitled KINSEY. It is a documentary and part of the AMERICAN EXPERIENCE series.

Ask at your local library. They may have it or can borrow it for you.

Even rape Kinsey lightly regarded as “easily forgotten”; he has been quoted as quipping that “the difference between rape and a good time depends on whether the girl’s parents were awake when she finally came home.”

I have no problems with your lifestyle but a person who finds "adult–child and human–animal sexual interactions" a normal thing, should not be given any forum in any place in our society.

Like I have said before about this site you list here, this person does not do anything more than take things out of context, he does not identify who he is or where he is located and what he is connected with. SEXUAL BEHAVIOR IN THE HUMAN MALE (1948) and SEXUAL BEHAVIOR IN THE HUMAN FEMALE (1953) (subsequently republished 1998) are both 800 pages plus - each book. They have a LOT to say and what they say can not be easily summed up in a few phrases and not accurately so. Anyone MUST read the entire books to see what they have to say and how and why.

Here's the thing. I posted about this film, the Documentary for a reason. To share that with others BECAUSE I KNOW it will HELP others. And I would EXPECT them to DO their OWN research THROUGHLY, ACCURATELY, COMPLETELY, AND HONESTLY especially to find out even more. When you do that and SEE THINGS from ALL PERSPECTIVES you will UNDERSTAND. And BE the mature adult you want others to think you are.

I've seen no evidence of that beyond the rantings of the "Concerned Women For America" and Dr. Judith Reisman. But then, she claimed Mapplethorpe's work wasn't "art" (I guess a PhD in Communications makes you an expert on everything. . .) and cited Romeo and Juliet as child porn. And the accusations of "pedophilia" are allegations. . and rather isolated ones at that.

Despite the fact that children that young can't physically reproduce, how do you think he performed this study? By guessing? havent we been over this. isolated accusations of pedophilia? it is 100% accepted fact that kinsey used personal journals, and interviews of a man who raped multiple children as the basis for some of his conclusions in his book. calling that "isolated accusations of pedophilia" is an interesting way to gloss over the facts. regardless of the conclusions of judith reisman (whoever that is) what are your conclusions kbm knowing kinsey came to his results after using child rape as the basis for some of his study?

The accusations seem to be limited to the rantings of extremist rightwing groups led by Dr. Reisman. Kinsey might have used some personal journals, but the Institute categorically denies those were used in anything involving children. I don't have any conclusions except that I'm always skeptical of any extremist drama without better evidence.
