    What movie is this?

Its from the 60;s or 70;s, and is about a ranger (?) and an ex priest turned ranger/police (?) and they are chasing some guy in snowy mountains.

The chased guy gets a dog due to an illegal dogfight or something.

"We gotta bury him or the dogs will eat him. -You stay behind, Ive got a man to catch. You gotta decide if you are a priest or a ranger".

I think its called something something Hunt.

Something like that. Whoever gets it right gets bragging rights in this thread

No, it doesn't sound like Death Hunt but that's a bad ass movie.

Wait yes it is I was confusing it with another movie

Canada 1931: The unsociable trapper Johnson lives for himself in the ice-cold mountains near the Yukon river. During a visit in the town he witnesses a dog-fight. He interrupts the game and buys one of the dogs - almost dead already - for $200 against the owner's will. When the owner Hasel complains to mounty sargeant Millen, he refuses to take action. But then the loathing breeder and his friends accuse Johnson of murder. So Millen, although sympathetic, has to try to take him under arrest - but Johnson defends his freedom in every way possible.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012
