I just bought SOCOM:Navy SEALS used for 5 bucks. It's fun sending your men in to take out bad guys while you sit back and pick others off with a sniper rifle, I think I'll buy the headset so I can command them via that.

I have had both and they both have pluses. Really man life is too short ... especially with you around flex ... to deny yourself the simple pleasures. Get both.

Playstation has a trillion games and way more sports games than xbox. The entire GTA series ...

Xbox has halo ... and halo 2 ... and splinter cell 2 ... and others that are esential to life. You can mod the shit out of the xbox and use it as a pc. Run it through a wireless lan and play movies you downloaded on your TV.

There is always ebay ... that came from this search.

But the play station still has more games and always will.

the PS2 has reached it's limits as far as power goes. The latest GTA is a fun game, but look at it and you can see that the poor system has been drained for every polygon it has and it still comes up short to even some of the crappiest Xbox games. It does have more games, but in my opinion the best of the Xbox library more than surpasses the best of the PS2 games, but there are lots more PS2 games to choose from, and many of those are really good games. I admit I'm very jeolous of the PS2's RPG and fighting library, and it has lots more good games to pick up as a rental whereas the Xbox has a select "must own" games, but other than those select hand fulls there's not much else to use the system for.

The only reason I'd ever pick up a PS2 is to play the sequel to Chrono Trigger, which I still haven't gotten to play There's emulators for that if I'd ever get off my lazy ass and figure out how it works

The answer for me is simple. And it's wherever "the sailors like to hang out."

i agree that ps2 has more games but when it come to online play nothing compares to xbox. online play has taken the video game industry to a whole new level. if your truly looking for a kickass game online, halo 2 is the only game to buy. hell it has been in my system since it came out in november and bungie is in the process of downloading new maps as we speek and will continue to add new maps, weapons and so forth in the future. plus xbox goes for the same $150 as a ps2.

Without a doubt Flex go out and buy yourself an xbox. Online play which is amazing, excellent choice of games(ninja Gaiden, splinter cell 1-3,mech assult1-2,prince of persia 1-2, the list goes on and on. Not to mention both Halo's. Playstaion had it's game of the year in San Andreas and that will soon be coming out on the xbox as well.

Damn boys, it's nice to have all your input.

Basically, from what i've collected:

PS2 has many more games

Xbox has better graphics

I think i'm leanin' toward the PS cuz it's cheaper and has a ton of games. But keep it comin', tis very helpful.

one more thing is that i don't do online gaming, so that feature for the Xbox is kinda null and void...

I've got a game for your list you can probably pick up for nothing. It's called State of Emergency. You could probably find it used easily.

Picture yourself in a shopping mall full of people. Your goal is to pick up whatever weapon you can find and KILL EVERYONE. M-16's, rocket launchers, chainsaws...it rocks. Bonuses for blowing out store windows and killing more than one person at a time.

After a rough day I come home and plug that in and enjoy the mayhem.

Today I can do what others will not so that tomorrow I will do what others cannot.

The difference between winners and losers is that winners do things that losers don't want to do.

Yep...Fight Night 04' as a few others said. I've been addicted to that game for awhile now. It has all the old fighters too: Marciano, Lennox Lewis, Sonny Liston, Holyfield and a shitload more. However, I play it on the XBox and never seen how good it is for PS2. I'm guessing it's pretty much the same. Sick game though.

I have a PS2 and love it. Unfortunately, there just isn't enough time in my day to play it as much as I'd like. The only games I have really played at all the last two years are GTA Vice City and GTA San Andreas. Also, wifey likes the NHL and WWE games.

PS2 and XBOX are the same price.

I hear Metal Gear: Snake Eater is supposed to be awesome. I heard you have to eat or your hands get shaky while trying to aim your weapon, you have changes of clothes for different camo scenarios. Not only do you fight enemies, but you have to survive you environment sounds cool.
