I think i'ma go on a little spendin' spree with all the $50 i'm rackin' up, and i'm gonna get me an Ipod Shuffle and a Playstation.

i was wondering who has Playstation, and what games you guys have that you recommend?

There are a few different versions of controllers out there, find one you like. You also might want to look at when the X-Box 2 and PS3 come out. Unless upgrading really isnt a big deal.

Hey Brother, if you like fighting games, well actually boxing games. Get Fight Night 2004, you design your own character, name ,look and all. Fight your way up to the championship. I LOVE it!!! The new one comes out March 1st.

Nah. It doesn't suck. I have the new PS2 and love it. I basically play sports games. Baseball, Madden, Madden, Madden....sorry, soccer, basketball, Madden, damn it, I said it again.....
That's when the kids let me get in front of the game.....

That's the Roy Jones one, right? I had that one, it was great, sold it in ebay to buy the new Madden

There's always people to kill, so upgrading isn't that big of a deal.

It's just that i saw the new, skinny PS for like $150, and you can't beat that. Plus i went into Electronic Boutique today, and they have 100's of used games for MAD cheap, where you can pay $3/game and it's insured for 1 year. How can you beat that?

Still, the new systems did weight a tad on my mind. Do you know when those new ones are coming out?

Bro, I wipe my ass with playstation. You'll get used to xbox controls fast, plus the games are cool as shit. Splinter Cell is one of my favorites, as well as bond style Halo.

Playstation has better performance where the Xbox has better graphics. Meaning when things get crazy the Xbox may slow up a bit trying to render the graphics whereas the Playstation won't hang. Remember Metroid on Nintendo at certain parts it would go into slow mo when fighting an end guy or Rygar was the worst for that shit.

I got both ps1 and ps2 as christmas presents, but I wont be adding any new systems to my collection. ps2 has been a huge let down, I guess from the performance boost I was expecting more out of it.. bad idea.

I cant really give a review of the PS2 because alone it doesnt do anything alone, so heres my reviews from the games Ive played on it..

Resident Evil: Code Veronica X - Same damn thing as PS1 resident evil series, with better graphics. Actually, this game is worse than those games because the now moving,"fixed camera angels" leaves you running into stuff(like zombies) blind because you cant see whats in front of you.

Metal Gear Solid: Sons of Liberty - Same damn thing as MSG on PS1! Not a,"Bad" game, but I expected some kind of upgrade, Complete letdown! First person shooter mode was easily possible in mgs1, they just didnt want/thing to add it. Again, it all went to graphics.

Tomb Raider: Angel of Darkness - I expected SO MUCH from this game and its been the biggest letdown of them all! It was so bad I just up and stopped playing it. Ive played through and beaten 1,2,3 lost revelation, and chronicles, and the first 3 were great, revelation wasnt great.. chronicles had abug that left me searching the level for like 5 - 6 hours till I gave up and restarted all because I did,"too good" on a level.. but I loved the series, this game was supposed to be great.. it was a great letdown.

I couldnt recommend PS2 to anyone who didnt like RPGs, because RPG games were the only ones I found to be good..

Final Fantasy 10 - Good game, voice acting sucked, movie sequences could have been better.

Final Fantasy 10-2 - Cheesy describes this best. I felt I was playing a game made for 7yo girls.. voice acting still sucked, movie sequences were GOD AWFUL- let me elaborate. Their teeth were solid pieces and like 1/3 inch thick. The people were all obviously Japanese(Eyes, and nose), and painted over to look caucasian.. Looked bad. Plus their mouths didnt match the english words, like an old chinese movie.
Aside from those flaws, the game was great. I spent all today replaying it just because I found out the ending I saw was incomplete, and That you can get Tidus to come back

Made the game worth playing- and the in game high poly models used in alot of the scenes were great as well.

Xenosaga, Espisode I: Der Wille Zur Macht- Really good game. The series is supposed to span multiple systems, and take 10 years to finish.. later episodes may end up sucking, but I hope not.. Anyways, this one was good!(IMO.. but arent all reviews?)

Final Fantasy 12 is supposed to suck, and FF13 isnt looking to promising from where Im standing.. Anyways, those are all the games Ive played on ps2, Ive heard alot of other people love it, but I dont see me buying anymore games for it.
Im avoiding games for the most part now, but any new games I play will all be PC.

Dude Flex my man, you gotta go with the PS2 maYn, no question. The X-Box is cool and the graphics are tight as fucc, but I haven't found as many games on it that have been extraordinary, ya feel me.. You have to keep up on the Madden games, whichever one is the newest (2005 is the best), you gotta pick up Grand Theft Auto San Andreas kid, by far the best GTA game and kindof the best game out there in general. the Metal Gear Snake Eater, the shit is off the hook, tactical espionage action in the Jungle, best storyline game that follows like a movie mayn. Grand Turismo is the best racing game for sure..All sports games are the shit just about.. good luck homie
