    too much protein

Silly question, but what would happen to someone if they ate about 200g of protein every day but never worked out? Would they eventually get fat?

    Yes I did.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

If you just sit around, and eat too much of anything you will get fat.. not just protein. Also, if you have 200lbs of lbm or around there, I think it would help stave off muscle loss.

Count your calories. Protein itself is somewhat thermogenic in nature, its not going to make your insulin freak out like 800 calories of sugar.
