Married to my wife for 5 years and caught her cheating. My son was born deaf which dont help. My son has enough shit to go through besides seperated parents. On top of it she calls me on my cell 20 x a day crying. Meanwhile I was completely faithful and wouldnt even look. And she tells me she did it cause she was jealous that girls hit on me even though im completely faithful. Just curious how people felt out there? On top of it im facing a felony charge cause I got the guy.

Well I am not the best person to give you advice about being faithful, since I see it in a very different way.

Btw what did you do to the guy? You shouldn´t have done anything IMO.

I'm 18 years old and a senior in high school. I was born profoundly deaf and i went through a lot of shit growing up. My parents had a tough time and my mom had to drive me to speech/hearing therapy which was an hour drive there and back everyday. I am so lucky and grateful she chose the hard life to get me to be successful and a part of the hearing community. If she didn't, i'd be doing sign language. After a long tough childhood trying to develop speech, and listening skills, here i am today having a good life and attending a public school that's all hearing except me. I am just like the rest of you except i wear hearing aids. I have a lot of hearing friends and they accept me for who i am. My speech is about 90-95% good and my hearing is about 80-85% with hearing aids too but it's tough in large groups of people in social situations like at a dance or restaurant when it's really loud. I have to look at the persons face when they are speaking so i can read their lips. I've always wished what it's like to hear normal but life sucks.

By the way, what did you do to the guy? What if you get convicted?

I have alot of respect for you. My son got a cochlear implant when he was a year old. He is now 2 1/2 and is starting to repeat words. He was born completely deaf. I wouldnt have him any other way in a million years. He is perfect. we take him to speech school 3 x a week about a 2 hour drive both way. I really truly worry for him though because I know how cruel people are. And I almost killed the dude I caught because it was at my place where my son was sleeping and I completely lost it. No regrets though. Whats funny is my son clings to me and totally rejcts the cheating bitch.

Man, that really sucks... I hope all goes well with the trial(if you have one). I would be in the same boat. If you get off, and get probation, you might file for divorce along with custody. I dont know how well that will go though, its a tough situation.

Thanks for the advice pre....appreciate it. Glad you would do the same. Im so pissed off. I use my aggression in the gym though.

Well, I should have said 'probably', as I have never been in that position. I sit here and thinkg about it, and although I would want to kill them both, I would probably do something more devious. Like divorce and deny custody to my wife, so she would realize that she fucked up and would never see her son again because she was a skank.. or wait a while, and do a Robert Blake on her.

It never happened to me either, so I can´t say exactly what I would do. Probably I would let them walk away. Specially if I had a son..

Agree with you but I already made the mistake with revenge.....so I wont get my son

Funny that she tried to turn it on you...girls make her jealous, so cheating on you was the answer.. I wouldn't buy it. More likely that she thought she'd get away with it. People are always sorry only after they're caught... it's a shame.

did this just happen? are there crime of passion laws where you are? a good lawyer should be able to get leniancy i mean c'mon your son was asleep there while this was going on? you found out n reacted without time to calm down? i think that warrents understanding.

get tested. and please don't burden your little boy with knowledge of this. i understand you are angry but things like these do not belong on the shoulders of children.

you only have one life. I would not waste it staying with another whom I didn't trust, to me it's that plain and simple.

there's about 20 million women in the US alone between the ages of 30-40. I'm pretty sure you can find another to love who knows the importance of fidelity.

been there many times, make sure you get a good lawyer. if it's your 1st offense the DA will definetly take a plea for simple assault which is a 2nd degree misdemeanor in most states. even if you have several simple assaults on your record they still might take a simple assault plea. in that case you might have to do some house arrest or maybe 48 hours, etc. in the county.

Its even better when she tells you over the phone 5 minutes before work starts, and then you get to stand there for 8 hours with a knife in your gut. I never really got that mad, i was just literally sickened as if it was the worse hangover i ever had.

Wow, this pretty much sucks altogether. Don't know what I would do in this situation. I know moving on would be one of the things, which it seems as though you are doing. I bet I would prolly be pretty vindictive, ie., I would video tape myself having sex with another girl and send it to her ass.

Well, first things first I would definitely try and push the crime of passion in the case. You need to bring up the fact that you were out hard at work trying to make the family survive, that you loved your wife, and that the fact that they were doing this with your innocent child sleeping a little ways away (can he walk? If so, he could have walked in on them). This is your wifes fault... jealousy is not excuse for what she has done. She is just trying to turn it around on you to assuage some of her own guilt (if she has a heart) and try to control your actions through the use of that guilt.

Anyways, take care of the guy in court before you start on the woman. If you can record her talking about her cheating on you it would be wonderful btw. Dealing with your charges is going to be tough enough without doing the divorce thing at the same time. On top of which, this will give you a little time to think.

Secondly, you want to file for divorce and get her out of your life. She's doing neither you nor your child a favor by hanging around. Somebody thats like that will do it again, and the fact that she tried to blame you tells me that she would do it again if she thought she could get away with it.

Lastly, keep track of her. Don't go after her or anything, but just keep tabs. If/When she gets married again one day, make an anonymous visit to her husband and tell him that you are her ex, and that she cheated on you, and that he probably shouldnt trust her as far as he can throw her. Make sure to bring up the deaf child thing too (if you have custody). That seed of doubt will do wonders for their relationship

The most important thing is your son needs you. Even if you had killed the guy, you probably could have gotten acquitted because it would have been manslaughter but it happened in a rage which you had no control over. I mean, if i walked in on my wife and saw her sleeping with another man, i dont know what i'd do. It's up to the jury to hear your story and like Eggs said, just explain your situation and why you did it.

I hope your son does well. Will he be able to live a normal life in hearing community if that's what you want? It'll be a tough road ahead but you'll get through it.

Any woman you have to fight over isn't worth having in the first place. Getting the guy was wrong. Best way to get him is to just let him have her, cause he will lose her the same way he got her.

Now, you gotta choice to make. Get rid of her, and know that you are probably going to cause your son some heartache, or suck it up and keep her around so the kid can have some resemblance of a whole family. If you decide to keep her around, just make sure she knows why. I'd divorce her now anyway. You can always let her move back, but this way you have custody of the kid. If she fucks up again, you can just toss her to the curb and not worry about it.

Did the guy know that she was married, or did she lie to him to?

I really don´t understand you all. You are talking about the mother of your son, the woman you loved. Yeah she made a "mistake" but she didn´t kill anyone either. You are talking about breaking up her future relationship, violence, revenge..
