    weed and beer

does toking up affect your workout? I try not to make it a habit but the odd time i do work out after having smoked up earlier in the day although i dont go to the gym baked or anything like that. Also considering the YMCA is right next to a bar i have been known to consume some adult beverages after my workout, how bad is this?

Weed and lifting? Youre opening a pandora's box with that one. We've had quite the long argument about that one.

As for drinking after lifting - youre ruining a lot. At least a few hours after lifting. Get your protein down, your body needs to rebuild.

Workouts aside, the weed or beer doesn't seem to have helped your grammar

The beers a toxin, that should be self explanitory.

"Hey, do you guys think its bad for my workouts if just afterwords I inhale paint for a bit?"

As to the weed, Arnold smoked up from what I remember in his movie and he still got big. Of course, he was on steroids as well.

well say if its friday i worked out earlier in the day took my protein shake and whatnot and around 9:30pm which is about 2 1/2 - 3 hrs after my workout i go out and party for a while.

Im sure im not the only one in this situation, and if getting drunk later completely invalidates my workout i guess i wont go to the gym on friday or saturday... or prior to a hockey game if and when the damn season starts

Drinking = 4 days without lifting. IE if you are gonna drink on friday, stop working out on wednesday and start again on sunday.

Im sure a lot of people would disagree, but I belive its the only way to go.
