So who's next...
Who will be the next IM Vet to decide that s/he has to leave for a while for personal reasons and then come back within 5 days?
Give your reason for your choice. For example...
I believe it will be Crono. A large Magic the Gathering Tournament will begin and, thinking he has a good chance to win, Crono will leave the board to pursue his lifelong dream. Unfortunately for him, Tit will get ahold of him and he won't make it out of the quarters.
I was gonna choose Rock because it seems to be a pattern, but I think Crono will be first.If sense were common, everyone would have it.

You don't count. You essentially just stop coming. I think as a prerequisite, the person needs to start a thread saying goodbye and be as vague as possible as to the reason why they are leaving. I will try to dig up Rock's thread as an example, it's a textbook case.

lately I've taken a hiatus but it was not intentional and it wasn't announced prior. (One SOB even said "Crono's been gone?")
the reason, not too unlike what dale predicted, was because I've been playing World of Warcraft like crazy, an online RPG. But starting yesterday I realized that my school work, sleep, eating, and relationship have all been suffering because of this straight up addiction so I'm quiting cold turkey. That and the servers are down for routine maintanance at the moment so I can't play until they come back up
on a side note, I don't enjoy Magic: The Gathering. I'm not denying that I play other card games, but Magic just doesn't cut if for me, although I've played it a few times with other people's decks. So, IN YOUR FACE!

I have actually started to like turnbased RPGs like the Civilization series. I played Civ 2 in college and got a little too hooked, there were times when I would play for like 4 hours straight. I noticed it impacting me getting laid so I stopped. Not because chicks heard about it, but because that is time I could have spent scamming on them.
