    Protein Not Protien

Its an interesting little spelling loophole.

I mean, everyone learns i before e except after c, but it needs to be modified to:

i before e except after c or except in Protein.

Maybe it is because it is scientific terminology?

Anyone know why the i b4 e rule doesnt work here?

Pretty weird I'll look it up in my leisure after I seize some caffeine.

I went to a chinese buffet in Florida 7 years ago and on the soy sauce they spelled it prorein. Coincidence, I think not.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

Azun, Azun! Oriental is like the N word.

And actually I'm not, but one of my good buddies is Korean.

It must be some foreign thing, I've weighed the matter and it's mind numbing like codeine, like some heinous beige veil over my mind, Neither I nor any of my neighbors no why this reigns within my species, wait thats an I before E law breaker, species shouldn't it be speceis? since it's an except after c scenario.

You'd think with all those good ie words you dug up Manic that you'd realize that know is spelled know, not no. But other than that, good stuff.

If we'd have known all the exceptions to the ie rule when we were kids we would have told our teachers where they could stick their stupid song.

That word is my nemesis, check through alot of my posts and you'll see I have used no instead of know, my logical side probably figures who needs the K and W if they're silent.
