This exerpt is from a Testosterone Nation article:

"In 1996, a scientist named H.E. Adams and his associates conducted a study that casts a new light on homophobes. Adams took 64 university students–35 deemed homophobic, 29 deemed non homophobic, all heterosexual–and had them view male porn. Each test subject was monitored for tumescence using a system that’s widely used to determine if pedophiles are responding to treatment.

Guess what? Fifty-four percent of the homophobic men manifested definite sexual arousal (more than 12 mm increase) and another 26% manifested moderate arousal (6-12 mm increase). The non-homophobic men exhibited the following levels of arousal: definite (24%), moderate (10%), and none (66%).

The findings pretty much jibe with what famed sex researcher Kinsey found back in the forties.

Ask a psychiatrist what those results mean. He’s likely to tell you that the alleged homophobes are 'projecting,' i.e. they themselves have a homosexual component to their psychological make-up. There’s an old Buddhist proverb that says, "Choose your enemies well for they will be the ones you most closely resemble." In other words, you hate in others what exists in yourself.

Maybe it’s bodybuilding itself that makes straight men in our field a little hypersensitive. The whole sport–and I mean the competitive side of it that involves shaving your body, putting on Speedos and oiling up before walking on state–has classically gay psychological underpinnings."

Its not so surprising...Deep down, in every human being's "core", sex is sex, and the thought of sex will, most times, whatever the type/gender involved/extent of sex, trigger some degree of an arousal...

It dont mean that the straight males makes want to fuck a guy, but the images got them thinking of sex...Thats enough to get most men somewhat aroused....Somewhat is the key word here!

I know gay people and I have nothing against them, only the fact they sleep with people of the same gender.

i consider myself a straight female. i've been with women and really wasn't against experimenting or anything but couldn't get turned on. a woman can go down on me all day no bells and whistles a guy n angels strat to sing it's just different. watching two women doesn't excite me not even slightly but sometimes watching two men can. so i guess i'm a straight female with gay male tendencies?

Your scrotum receeds because sperm have to be kept cooler than the human body to mature properly. 98.6 degrees Farenheit is not an optimal temperature for sperm, so your sack hangs and receeds to warm your testicles when they get to cold.

Its just that some part of ur subconcious doesnt know the difference between gay sex and straight sex....in the sense that whether Ure watching a bunch of guys sucking weeners or a buncha chicks munchin' on sushi, U brain thinks SEX!!! Not to say that what u are seeing turns u on, but it triggers sexual thoughts (again subconsciously) that U actually like, appreciate, enjoy, and this is the process that causes this "arousal"....

Huh? Yes your brain will think sex if you see sex, whether gay sex or straight sex, because you have learned that the act they are doing is sex. It's like seeing two BMW's hit each other and you think "Car crash" then seeing two Suburbans crash and you also think "Car crash" because you have learned what the action is. Your brain knows the difference between gay sex, straight sex, 2 cars crashing or 2 vans crashing but you still know what the physical action is. It's a learned behavior. If your subconscious didn't know the difference between gay sex and straight sex, then technically there would be no gay sex or straight sex, it would all be sex, but being able to distinguish between the two just goes to show that your brain makes a conscious distinction between heterosexual acts and homosexual acts.

im not saying ur brain doesnt know the diff. between hetero/straight/or any sex....If that was the case, I know people who would fuck their dogs!

But as U have said it, its a subconsciously learned behaviour for our brains to shift to "pleasant" sexual thoughts, whenever the slightest idea of sex crosses our mind, thus the possibility of arousal, somehow "linked" to sexual activities that would otehrwise turn u right off! The study discussed by dstack also mentions how minimal (no pun intended!lol) the arousal was with such stimulation.

your nuts may receed but that has nothing to do with arousal. fear and stress actually promote arousal. its why people do it in public, because of the "i might get caught" aspect. also tell any teenage boy who got monster wood during his SAT test that stress works against arousal and he will laugh in your face.
