I believe there is no point to the fact that marijuana being illegal and alcohol being legal. You can tax the shit out of each of them, and yes, marijuana is much more safe when it comes down to health of yourself and others. A drunk would likely get into a car accident as opposed to a stoner likely not.

because if alcohol wasn't legal my kids would be in deep shit today cuz my nerves are fried from moving. a drink to take the edge off is okay. a joint to take the edge off and i'd be joining them in their fun instead of getting reading to move. but really pot is much less dangerous then alcohol. you ever here someone say their child died of accute marijuana poisoning?

No That is exactly what you can´t do. Most drugs that are not legal cannot be taxed because nobody would buy marijuana, they would grow, they would make them. So after a while people would develop a taste for another drug other than alcohol and some people and the government would lose a lot of money.

Lol, well I guess that works a little V... the government in which is making it legal would have to think of that stuff ahead of time.. though the stuff you buy at the store would be more "addictive and full of SHIT" I am sure.

I am also speaking from the perspective of only Marijuana RG.. not sure what he/she was on, but I usually can function just as good if not better while stoned (I do not have a liscence, and even if I did I would never drive under the influence of anything)

Have you ever learned about prohibition? It is what began organized crime. Weed is not for bums and even bums as you call them are not there because they want or if they are is for a more deep reason, sometimes beyond our understanding. It is a misconception to think all bums are idiots. Some of them are really clever. Some of them were famous and influenced society.

Although most of them should just get a job.

Alcohol is legal because you can sneak it into your senate commitee meeting and consume it without anyones knowledge, weed is easily detectable the second you spark up while someones in the middle of a filibuster.

If pot smokers had done the same as beer drinkers(on the same level) weed would be legal.. Plus theres alot of money in alchohol, Im sure that had influence.
