It was on the news last night they said he walked away sore with bruises.

Yeah, you can see when he gets hit that he could make it out without anthing broken. His legs bounce out initially, then they are thrown in the air so they dont go under the rear tire. His butt probably made contact with the tire though.
Regardless, guy was definitely lucky. One probably wouldn't expect to have a cop run your ass over when he's chasing you down. Now they know to look back a little more frequently
