Dave Chapelle renewed his contract for approximately $50 million back in august for two more seasons of the ‘Chapelle Show’. Chappelle’s returns to the show as star, writer, co-executive producer and co-creator. ‘Chappelle's Show’ has become an important series for Comedy, scoring Emmy nominations and ranking as the highest-rated cable program for the network's demographic sweet spot, men 18-34, who comprised much of the 3.1 million total viewers the series averaged in its second season.
Comedy Central sent out a quick and short e-mail to the media: "Comedy Central has suspended production on the third season of 'Chappelle's Show' until further notice. All parties are optimistic that production will resume in the near future. The third season will not premiere on May 31st as originally scheduled."
I hope his candle doesn't burn out too soon, I think he's funny.
I loved the first 2 seasons...but I think he's running out of good ideas
I mean how many skits can you do that he hasn't already done, or that someone else hasn't already?
And I hate how he has to go to commercial every 5 seconds...
this is very dissapointing god dammit. Why is it that the few shows I actually like never see past more than three season but all these ridiculous shows like survivor and all these other poor exuses for entertainment are never ending..?
