If you could save one person...

Ok, you are at a family reunion with every member of your family. A bomb hits the area and you can save only one person, this includes wife and children. Who do you save?
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

    I save you Dale!

It definitely makes it easier that Jenny and I are still dating, because she isnt technically considered family, so that frees up another spot for me to save someone.

Hrmmm, is this a loaded question? Such as to assume that I hadn't just taken out policies on my entire family? Bah!

    The kids.

Dale if I was to save you I'll be the first to give you mouth to mouth, you can count on that.

Oh now WHY the sudden stipulations??

Fine Fine Fine.... take me out of the will. I'll still remain the sole family member to contest any estate.

In truth, if I HAD children it would probably be one of them. Since I don't have children it would probably be my wife.

Now, given the silliness of your scenerio, if in fact you really had a BOMB go off you really wouldn't have time to stand around a pick out (eenee, meenee, minee, mo) which member to save. Like RG attested, I'd probably die in the effort to save everyone than select out a "preffered" member to sacrifice myself for.

No, you misunderstand, why would you save someone who has you in their will, then you would have to wait to collect.

If I can get my family in one place at one time the world's going to end anyway.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

    That's a no-brainer, I would save my-self. Hehehe
Man can now fly through the air like a bird , swim beneath the ocean like a fish and burrow under the ground like a mole , and if he could only walk the earth like a man......this would truly be paradise.http://www.mwscomp.com/movies/grail/...s/n_sr-not.jpg

You took MY answer LOL. Alright, I guess I'll grab the wife if she's been good lately.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

hmm.. a dad, mom, 2 older sisters, 1 younger brother and a cat

Well since i am the only one my cat likes (i feed her, let her sleep on me, she follows me around, only bites other people, etc..) i think i'll save her

See my gallery for pics (notice how fat she is, i feed her steak bits, ham, cheese, pizza sauce, tuna, chicken).

I guess it runs in the family! She has to bulk up on protein!

PreMier got a point there. Nobody here would think it is strange a 25 year old dating a 16. I find it sick but most people find it is all right. Weird country sometimes.
