    Amazing Race...

Anyone been watching this? I just finished watching the finale and it seemed a bit fishy to me. You would just about need an act of congress to get an airline flying into the US to re-open a gate that has closed. Maybe it is different in other countries, but it was still American Airlines.
If sense were common, everyone would have it.

I agree thought that as well. Probably the network did that so it wasn't an obvious win by Rob and Amber who have walked away with the show since the beginning.

I agree. There is no way that would happen normally - plus did anyone notice that they basically RAN through the airport - not hitting security at all?

It also sucks that winning $1 million comes down to having a crappy cab driver. Rob and Amber deserved that win more.

They were at ticketing at 10:04 and the flight was scheduled to leave at 10:00. A pilot couldn't even have made it to the gate that quickly.

It seems like the producers were thinking "There is no way anyone will make that 10:00 flight" and then, when it happened, they had to make sure 2 teams did.

Someone on another board brought this point up as well - what about the camera guys? When they tell the couple that they are on standby, then there should only be two seats. Where does the cameraman sit? And, do the airlines just allow cameras on their flights or do the producers have everything cleared with the airlines before the whole thing even starts because they pretty much know which flights these guys are going to be on?

I'd love to see the behind the scenes work on this one. Logistics must be hell.
