    Star Wars...Who's ready?

It's comin', and it's comin' soon.
One of the greatest movie series of all time is back.
I've been a huge Star Wars fan since i was a kid, and I can't wait for this ep.

I'm t'll be better than the last two, they kinda need to redeem themselves. The two things that pissed me off so bad were a) Jar Jar (who was an AWFUL addition to the series) and b) the kid who plays a grown Anakin. I mean, can they get a WORSE actor? Whether he's angry, showing his love, fighting or whatever, he always has the same dumb look on his face and his voice never changes tones. God i wish someone would feed him to a Wookie.

    So, who's ready..............bitches

(anyone who bashes Star Wars is gonna wake up with a light saber up their ass)

    added some pics:

I agree highly with the anakin actor. I felt that way since day one. I wasn't even too fond of baby anankin.

    But I liked Jar Jar!!!

Other than that, I'm extremely excited

I thought Lucas drove the series into the ground with the last 2 movies. Superior special effects but weakly told stories with mediocre acting. Just the notion of seeing Skywalker transform into Darth Vader will make this one worth the price of admission. Oh shit. Spoiler, Spoiler.

Figures you'd like Jar Jar ya homo.

I'm looking forward to seeing it. I havent been that impressed with the last two, but I've heard good reviews about the next installment. Its kind of sad that will be it though... Star Wars has just always had this feeling that it would go on and on, ah well.

Perhaps one day they'll remake the last two and do a better job

Oh, and Anakin blows, he just doesn't fit into the role so well, it doesn't seem natural.

Agree with everyone.. looking forward to episode 3 even though hayden christensen was a terrible Anakin...he made my skin crawl in ep. 2 when he said "It's not fair!"

    EXACTLY!!

I paid Boba Fett $50 to kill Anakin, and he hasn't delivered.
If someone doesn't kill Anakin, I'ma drive my Predator ship to Tatooine and do it for free.

Married life....well, imagine being stuck in a never-ending episode of "Married w/Children" (only without the children, thank god), and you'll get the idea.

How you doing? How's IM? I haven't been back in fuckin forever, but not much seems to have changed....it might be a bit more gayer without my overwhelming hetero-influence to counter, but aside from that....

You guys act like Mark Hamill was such a great actor as well. I think they chose another bad actor to play Anakin Skywalker to match the bad acting of Luke Skywalker so it would seem like a family trait. Brilliant conceptual continuity if you ask me.

Hamill had much better script to work with, that's about the only difference.

Hammil was a good actor, he had the same corny dialogue that Anakin has, he just made it SO much better.

Case in point... when the original Star Wars came out, he is one of the things that made it great. He wasn't a great actor, but somehow he fit the role and made it a great move.

The last two movies though... anakin hasn't been a great actor, and didn't add to the movie at all. Or at least in my eyes.

Eggs made me watch part of one Star wars movie once.. It wasn't too bad.. But I think it's safe to say that I won't go with him to the movies to see this one since I wouldn't know anything about the story..

You guys are just sore that Anakin doesn't fit your conception of the badass Darth Vader he becomes, but don't worry once the dark side gets a hold of him all that pansiness will subside.

In the spirit of SW, i changed my avi to Boba Fett, the galactic bounty hunter, a distant relative of mine who killed for $.

So, if you could please make out any future checks to Jabba T. Hut (my boss), i'd appreciate it. (yes, it's still $50)

Umm, Flex, FYI... you're going to have to increase your charge, cause Jabba is prob going to take at least a 10% finders fee.
