    Vieope: Q & A - And Biography

I've been on this board for a year and half, and I have been curious about Vieope for a while. It's because he lives in Brazil. I am planning on taking a 5 month trip to South America and Brazil seems very intrigueing.

My question for Vieoppe (if he will answer).

    1. Are you Brazilian?

    2. What cities/areas should I visit?

    3. It is possible to teach English in Brazil? (Only looking for break even financially. I have the proper qualifications and experience.

Thanks in advance, if you choose to answer.

    Yes, I am.

I would say everything, south american countries are very interesting. But for a foreigner it is better to stay near Sao Paulo and Rio.

Possible yes but very difficult if you come here without the job. We are a developing country and we need all the help we can but most of the jobs offered to foreigners are voluntary work. So you donīt get paid. Most people come here more for the experience of living in a country so diverse as Brazil.

    Any futher help, just ask.

    ^ thanks Vieope.

Volunteering is not a problem if room and board can be provided. I'm not interested in "making money."

When I say I'm going to travel/live/work in a certain region, I do it.

I studied Spanish in Central America at some Spanish language schools but that won't help me with Brazilian Portuguese.

In Saigon, Vietnam now, and option are always open as I look for a new destination. I'll keep researching Sao Paulo, Rio, and other areas.

    Thanks.
