    question on IPODS...? :)

    are they only ITunes compatable or can I do some other download service? I'm not too sure

    I donīt know but if I worked where you do, music would not be my first choice for fun.

    Itunes is the software that your Ipod uses to load music form and play music on yoru computer.

    Itunes will convert music from any file type.

    You can download music from other places.

    LOL, well actually it's for my son, he needs to look "cool" in school, so I'm now hassled with this IPOD thing he won for free. I don't want to teach him bad mannerism, so I don't allow "free" music downloads.

    I convert them before puting them on iTunes.. Those assholes tag everything.. I won't even use them to import a CD.

    You can import your own CD's, but you can only burn a cd with songs that you buy from them seven times

    I think you can use musicmatch to transfer music to an iPod, I'm not sure..

    Use XPLAY!!!! Go to Download.com do a search for it. its simple to transfer songs from PC to your iPod. Itunes sucks. nuff said.

    I was a member of www.emusic.com unlimited downloads for $9.99 a month. They may not have what you are looking for though I dont know, they have a trial membership for like 2 weeks or something.
