    Medicaid is giving out Viagra?

    http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/05/23/of...gra/index.html

Its pretty strange... and I dont know if I like the thought of paying taxes to help guys get their erections. Especially the guys as listed in that article, but even regular guys. Perhaps I just dont consider someone elses sex something that I should have to pay for. What do you all think?

Actually I believe they found Viagra and Cialis to be good for the heart as well, could very well be minor benefit though.

I'm sure a lot of guys get it to improve their hearts You're right though Mudge http://my.webmd.com/content/article/24/1818_50011.htm Viagra can also be very dangerous for people with some forms of heart disease though..http://my.webmd.com/content/article/34/1728_89825.htm

Yeah Mudge, I could see it being good for the heart, as it gets everything to flow well and what not. But I have to admit I'd rather they give out ephedra... at least then I'm supporting better blood flow overall, and not their erection.

Um, honey, ephedra won't do that Ephedra helps oxygen uptake in the lungs, but can be bad for the heart and increase the risk of a heart attack. Aspirin has blood thinning effects though, and thereby help blood flow and decrease the risk for heart problems. So give them baby asprin twice a day instead if it's for heart problems.

Not being able to have an erection can be very emotionally taxing though (I'm a woman so I guess I wouldn't really know, but I read a lot ), so viagra could help people settle emtional and personal issues.. Perhaps just as much as zoloft and other antidepressants..

Bleh, fine then they should give out aspirin.

As to men being emotionally taxed from not being able to sustain an erection... I think that in most cases that would come from stress or fitness problems. They should focus on those problems, then, and not enjoying the benefits of my tax dollars to help them bone their women. I cant get viagra free, why should they?

    Plus, I need it!

You definitely DON'T need viagra, your thing salutes me everytime I he sees me I agree, people should focus on the stress problems and fitness problems first. But if you want to take it there, that raises more questions. Should a type 2 diabetes patient not get medication cause it could be reversed with diet and exercise? What about people with heart problems, should they not get medication to prevent heart attacks?

    Oh, and I love you

Yeah, well people are lazy. We will look at any excuse sometimes it seems.

Why eat clean and workout when I can get an operation or a prescription.
