there's also a few programs out there that scroll through advertisements on your computer where u pay a certain amount to the website, and depending on how many hours a day you allow the program to run you can make back twice the amount of money you pay them. Supposedly it's some bandwith loophole, relying on the possibility that some of these people using this program might actually see an ad they like and actually click on it, and maybe even use the site/product.

I have a screensaver full of pics from anime, video games, books, and things of interest of mine that I've googled/ yahooed 1,288 pics so far.

that doesn't have anything to do with this in particular, just thought I'd throw that out there.

there were several programs/companies like this several years ago, they paid you to surf the net and there was a toolbar that stayed on your screen/browser that displayed ads, they all went under.

Actually, spamming and making pointless threads are two different things. Being that this is open chat we kind of expect to post funk things. However, we dont expect you to post links a couple times a day trying to make money off us.

I make threads every now and then linking to articles. By your rules, because somebody might consider them pointless I could be spamming. Thats probably not really the case though.

Now, if you posted like 5 threads in a row with completely pointless stuff I might consider it spamming... or having 10 replies in a row in a thread. But I dont think she posts that many threads, or makes that many replies.

Now, in Rocks threads... we definitely spammed the shit out of that.
