Ps3 Versus Xbox 360

I found an interesting article with the specs of both machines. It seems as though PS3 is putting all its eggs in one basket as far as rendering is concerned, going for the ability to process FPU's beyond anything else. From the E3 coverage it seemed like PS3 was a more powerful console, but this article leaves me unsure of this.

Hard to say until they hit the shelves; there's always a ton of hype beforehand. Can't friggin' wait, either way.

Yeah, but that article is biased twoards microsoft. Infact, I have an xbox and like it better than PS2, but I don't want my bias to get in the way. Oh, and for a real comparison to take place, I need to see performance charts representing both machines running the same games, and see what is pushing more FPS's, etc.

All systems to come out first arent as powerful as the ones that come after because technology gets better everyday.

they named it xbox 360 so that theres a 3 next to the name as a stategic manuver so that when people see ps3 and xbox 2 the xbox 2 will sound older and outdated. so xbox 360 sounds better
