thats a good list, the only thing I would change is that personally can't stand Chris Rock so he would be off there. The rest I have no problem with thou. I would put Bill Maher up there, althou he isn't as conventional of a comedian as he is a political satirist.

All mentioned by Foreman are great.

I also like Sam Kinison and saw him life, many moons ago.

Without Eddie Izzard, that list has little credibility.

Eddie is just small time, sorry bro. This list is for the greats, not some funny guy you saw in a comedy club in London.

No reason to get mad because nobody knows who Eddie is.

Bill Hicks and Sam Kinison were incomparable, but both died far too early. George Carlin's misanthropic bent is terrific but still doesn't connect well with that at-large public...seems everybody is still hooked on his 'observations'.

This list is not in any order.
1.Bill Cosby---I never found him laugh out loud funny. He's ok.

2.Dave Chapell----- The shit he does makes me laugh crying........ "The black President Bush"

    3.Redd Fox---- Old School funny

4.Richard Pryor--- Real funny, liked his movies too.

5.George Carlin---- This guy doesn't get enough credit.

6.Chris Rock--- His standup is pretty good, alot of NY reality humor to it, but he sucks as an actor. There are times when I can't make out what he is saying...yells too much. Making it's his huge teeth.

7.Jerry Seinfield--- Loved his show. He should preform more or is that it.

8.Eddy Murphy---- What the fuck happened, he was so funny.

9.Bill Maher---- I haven't watched enough of him.

My favorite would have been a young Eddie Murphy but I would have to go with Dave Chappelle from this list.

But my alltime favorite is Rodney Dangerfield...no one compares.

I agree with that.. the vulgarity is usually way overboard with comedians.
