    $6000 in Remodling

For the past year we've been doing some Family room remodling. It has stayed the way it looked when we bought the house a year and a half ago. After $6000, we've finally finished.

Here's the before pic of the stairway to the basement.

    And after...

    The family room before.

    And after...

Very Nice. You gonna dress up the walls with any paintings or photos?

You should do a faux finish on the walls, I did a sponging and glazing to my study and it gave it an ancient roman look. It looks like you have maybe a tropical thing going they have wall paper that has the texture of thatched reeds or something like that.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

6000 in that room Satan? That is too much. The room looks simple. I donīt like it. I could have done so much better.
