Thread: Does this make me a horrible person?

Don't worry about it, guys as a whole jsut get less emotional and caring about things like that, and im not trying to be rude to men or wormen. This kid in the grade below me died yesterday from brain cancer or something, and I said something along those lines. It makes you fel kinda bad, but it's jsut how our mind works. And on a factual note, since im cool and watch animal planet there was this thing showing how men and women are actually different, and men use less of the right half of the brian but more of the left than women, or somehting remotely like that, causing men to be less emotional

But instead I say
"I wonder if her boyfriend's gonna get 'any' now."

Is that evil? I mean...the reason I said that is because, women always wanted to be comforted after something like that.

And it's not like I knew the guy....But you would think a person who knew a friend's dad died, would be sad or caring or something right?

What dark crevice did you pull that out of? What does her dad being shot have to do with her boyfriend getting any? I would imagine that for awhile, however long that is, that she wont be able to have those kind of relations unless she really was not close to her father or even hated him (which doesn't sound like the case).

So firstly, I would wonder why you said that. Secondly, its really important to think before you speak. Believe me I get myself into some shyt with the ladies either because of my sarcasm or my attempt at witty commentary gone awry.

I wouldn't say it makes you a bad person, just from one comment, but you need to think a bit before you pull out "boners" like that one. Most of us do that from time to time, but that was certainly a biggun. Sometimes, especially with women, listening and NOT saying a damned thing is the best thing you could ever do.

I agree with the immaturity remark, but no I don't think it makes you a bad person either. I think it also shows you just don't know how to react in that situation, your first thought is what a horrible thing to happen but what comes outta your mouth is an insensitive joke. Just shows your incomfortability in that situation, nothing to beat yourself up about. I've said pretty crappy things in situations like that as well.
