    tanning questions......

    1. salon or sun? (been Noah's arking in this mud the last few weeks....)
    2. is it safe to expose the willy to harmful UV rays even if the harmful UV rays come from a lightbulb?
    3. starting off as a white boy that'll burn, how frequently should i do this shit?

    and sort of an off topic question.....do bodybuilders shave their arms too?

    Bodybuilders shave their arms, I never have because I think it looks somewhat fruity. When you are 5'10" 280 though, go for it.

    People still argue about UV exposure, so you will hear safe and hell no depending who you talk to, do your own research on that one.

    You should NEVER EVER burn, period. Burning is not how you "start" a tan, if anyone tells you that they are full of bad advice. You need to get the body to produce more melanin, if you ever burn you are supposed to stop tanning until you heal. I have tanned before so I'm not one of those "you are going to dieeeeeeeee" people, but it all has a cost in terms of your skin health, so keep yourself as sane as possible and eventually decide on quitting altogether.

    Tanning in the sun = UVA/B/C
    Tanning in a salon = UVA/B
