Long weekend.
I requested tommorrow off (Canada Day I guess it's like a day of sympathy as they go through their final thaw
)then I have Saturday, Sunday and Monday for Independence day. I'm gonna max and relax especially at night with some mixed drinks and cool tunes. Maybe I'll read a little and work on some poetry too. On Monday I'll be a up the hill from Pearl Harbor in Aiea Heights watching the fireworks over the Harbor in my gf's grandpa's home sitting on the balcony with a smooth buzz, maybe I'll pick up some buds on Sunday to intensify the visuals.
So what are all of you's gonna do this weekend?
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Me and the honey are taking off in about 4 hours ( 4:30 am )
To go to Drumheller. They have a whole bunch of Dinosaur museums and stuff there. It's an 8 hour drive but it should be really fun.

flying in to Dallas sunday morning for a party that afternoon. staying a couple of days extra to do some personal training sessions with my buddy out there.

our 4th of july weekend always starts with my sons birthday the 1st. he's 8 today. we are going toy shopping and then to get food for his party n decorating... the week end ends in grampys boat with a day of lake fishing n swimming with the traditional potato salad my mom used to make n now i do with fresh peas, chunks of ham and tomato... and of course then a bunch of sun kissed tired fisherpeople watching the fireworks.

Funeral today followed by a traditional Military Wake followed by a crash sobriety check followed by a Romantic Dinner tonight with my lovely wife.
Tomorrow, I send the wife off to a full day of pampering at an all-day spa thingy while I drink copious amounts of good beer with a buddie while we install a posi-track under his chevelle.
Sunday is an all-day float trip down the Illinois River.
Monday, is a lazy day by the grill with some good friends followed by a night if Fireworks at the River Parks here in town.
