    Who shaves their head?

    I saw some peeps talkin about this... and had just recently thought of making a thread like this. I wondered how many guys in here who lift also shave their head. I never shaved my head till a few months ago. Then kept going shorter. Used a #1 (1/8") most of the time, yesterday did no guard... haven't gone razored yet.

    Don't I look confused here? Maybe I was still unsure of the decision to go no guard... but hey... my hair is still ridiculously soft. I know that sounds gay to make that comment, but it is just a weird fuzzy feeling when you touch my scalp.

    I use clippers, no razor
    I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

    I ought to shave (the remainder off) the top of my head. Just havn't got the guts......... I also don't want to be seen as a 'skinhead', with all the connotations......

    Go for it! I keep trying to talk my dad into it... cuz he's bald on top also for the most part. I don't think I'll ever go bald naturally... all my grandparents have PLENTY of hair.

    Bald I figured I'd start shaving it young & bypass the jokes I was already starting to get from friends. Now I'm 'Bald by Choice'

    I use an electric razor once over, then smooth it out with a mach 3. Smoooooothh...
    Took a while when I first began, but now I can get it done in 10 minutes.

    I love it.

    The term "skinhead" is so outdated. I don't think you would need to worry about any stigma in that regards.

    I have many friends of all different colors and cultures and my shaved head has never once been brouhgt up in that context.

    Now, if you happen to have a swastica tattoo on your person somewhere, then I could see how people might get the impression you have antisemetic issues

    i could probably get away with doing it less, but it's only smooth for maybe 14 hours. It's easy enough to maintain it, so I don't mind. Maybe my hair just grows fast...

    I'm usually browsing IM when I'm doing it anyway A mirror is only needed for behind my ears.

    My dad called me a skinhead yesterday... but... that is my dad, and he is pretty sarcastic. I can't really imagine that anyone else I know would think anything of it.

    Lol, yeah... with my hair this length, it actually is really soft, not prickly, but when I put on a shirt this morning I was like "Hey! It swishes like 'wind' pants!"

    i shave my head, but mainly my sides. I like to get it "high and tight" if you know what i mean. Buzzcut on the sides while the top is trimmed.

    I shaved my head with clippers for the first time in 98, it was so addictive. I hated having hair and clipped it eod. Tried a razor once...ouch....I guess there is some trick to that.

    first time, i had terrible razor burn.. trick i use is get as close as i can with an electric, then the razor work is minimal: really just clean-up. haven't had razor burn since.

    Might as well try it I thought, it'll be back to a #1 in no time. My parents hate it... my g/f is in Maine right now... sent her a pic and she liked it. Idk, for me I think a 1 or 2 is better, but this does feel nice.

    Every few days I go over it with the clippers, but I'm growing it back starting yesterday. It's great for the summer, I did it once in the winter and never again

    This may seem off topic but when Micheal Jordan's hair started to recede he shaved it all off, and I noticed that everyone was copying him. It was OK to be bald.

    Hey Nick, once you shave it off you'll look so much better. It actually looks better being completely bald than to have the half bald look.
