I've never read them... know some people that have, just have never really wanted to. Plus, they do such a good job with the movies, why spoil a good thing

The movies are pretty good... high quality, with scenery and acting that is decent enough that it draws you in quite well. That said, nope, not into the books.

But the books are amazing...I started them when i was in 7th grade, so maybe that's why I like the them so much.

But almost all my friends are really into the books, and are/have read the new one already.

    And we're all seniors.

Yeah, I know alot of grown up people that read them. I have the same feelings for the books I read when growing up... I still go back and revisit them now and then and enjoy them just as much as always.

They are probably quite good, I just have so much other stuff ahead of them to read.

I read the first book which was excellent (and saw the film which was good too). Last HP book I read was 'Order of the Phoenix' which wasn't bad; love the unicorns(?), but hell it was long.... And I'm not against long novels, but she did 'pad' it out a bit at the beginning....

I know some ultra Christian Germans down the road who will not let their children read any of those books or watch the movies either........(Silly buggers!)
