    Bengal Cats

A person I work with his ex has one 10 months old and neutered and is giving it away I can have it if I want. I did a search on bengal cats, but would like to know if anyone here has or knows someone who has had one. What are their dispositions like? Anything special that is different or should be known about them?

Now she's holding a baseball bat and it reads "Bring It On."

Don't get it if you're not going to commit your life to it. Too many people think it will be great to get one and then realize the huge responsibility it is to own one and decide they don't want it anymore, abandon them or just abuse them. Of course me being a lion lover I read all of those stories so I'm just wary of anyone looking to keep a big cat as a pet.
Coarse edged youth, the irish pendants string from their smiles
not yet plucked as to slacken the seams
and drag down the features of age,
no folds or creases from unkempt wear
    eyes of tranquilty, crystalline-beads
no sign of despair in their hair, nor their hearts
but oh they have yet to be experienced and that makes aging so very worth it...ML circa2012

Ah, I see Bengal and think Tiger. Thats a nice looking feline, I want one. Sounds like a fun breed too. My damn cat lives in a 6ft square area and has a routine - eat, sleep, shit...repeat.

i think owning big cats should be made extremely difficult and there should be a safety net in place for the sake of the animal check ups by an animal specialist for housing, diet, general health, well being of the animal. not just any idiot should be able to get them.

I have 6 akita's 120-150 lbs guarding my property here in Baja. But a 700 lb tiger would probably do a better job.

I breed Bengals so if you have any questions shoot.
I have 10 breeding queens so have a good working knowledge of the breed. I agree with RG on the big cat issue I also have a large number of Servals, Fishing cats, and Caracals. They should not be owned by an untrained person.

Wo, those are pretty house cats. How much would an average (not pick of litter) bengal cat go for?

we sell them for an average of 500.00. That is already spay/nuetered and fullly vaccinated. Breeders go for $1-2000.00.

Nothing can compare to the rare Lion Cat
